Thompson Conservation Area on Hoffman Rd is a beautiful shorter extension of Thompson Park and an absolutely delightful relaxed hike, especially in the morning or toward the evening. Its very well maintained three seasons of the year by the youth conservation corps and corps leaders of Middlesex County, Open Space Dep. With positions open to sixteen years and up for a rewarding and truthfully fun position of complete outdoor work focused toward the maintenance and repair of our trails, the natural health of our open spaces, the cleanliness of our parks and creating a safe and beautiful experience for the public to continuously enjoy for years to come!

This is a very spacious park with tables and chairs. Very good place for family gathering or just finding a third space to enjoy. Spaces could be rented for family activities. See images for reference. I didn’t saw any grill though.

We went to witness July 4th fireworks celebrations. The event was very well organized, crowd management, traffic management, event management was very well done. The fireworks itself was very good spectacle. Very good option to visit.
